hey, hard to tell. the tutorial is for pixel strips/or SPI pixels in general, when you are using some king of Art-net to SPI decoder ( like SPI Matrix ) so it can be thousand different reasons ( perhaps only few, but you get the idea ) but I strongly suggest to check resolume forums - resolume.com/forum/

you definitely can. keep in mind the voltage drop. it can even have some benefits, though from our experience its usually bit harder to do it compared to when you power the strip from the start.

@@LEDStripStudio So as i understand you don't have product as i describe. İ don't want to get in artnet or alternatives, and as I'm, there is many people don't want to get in that addressing. I don't know how hard to make that kind controller but it will clean for many people many problems with led strip in clubs bars, disco's or Mobil DJ systems. Many people will get it cuz it's 1000 time easy for some line strip users. Most places are not really screen style led friendly and for 40 meter line strip really don't want to get in ic led adressing or any extra program.... But anyway thank you very much for answer....

Hi, there are many controllers in the world and we can test all of them unfortunately. Anyway, if it can generate DMX, Art-Net or http commands, you should be able to use all our LED strip controllers (thus LED strips) using Athom.

you can either power the strip directly from the Reactivo, or you only lead data line plus ground and power separately strip and the device. voltage range is 5-24V

hi, thx for the question. we currently don't have live sound to effect feature in either software or in hardware. a workaround is grabbing the content from your monitor / ruclips.net/video/ETh3jzP2tEE/видео.html Another option is to create Music synced show, though this is for a specific song. You can then use DMX to recall the effect from the software which will also play your sound. Pure standalone solution would involve 3rd party device, such as ImageCue - it can play sound and trigger your effects at the same time from your controller.

Sure, the 1, 8, 15 and 22 are not fixed universes. You can set the device (SPI Matrix) to e.g. use just universe 1 for output 1, use universe 2+3 for output 2 and so on. And as it is set in the device, we have to use it in the mapping. By default, the outputs are set to use 1-7, 8-14, 15-21 and 22-28 for output 1, 2, 3 and 4.

I'm sorry, we don't use H802RA, so you must ask the producer of the device.

if you would change + and GND then yes, you would probably fry some pixels. so it is important to follow the correct pinout.

@@LEDStripStudio @LED Strip Studio I read that article and in no way does it cover 5 pin digital DMX512 LED strips. The DMX512ICs receive DMX data communications directly. You can wire a 3 pin DMX or RJ45 cable directly to the strip. Additionally, they run in parallel, not Serial (SPI) and any number of LEDs or ICs can die on the strip without stopping the flow of data. SPI has a single break point, and dual break point for 4 pin PCBs with backup data line. I'm not a fan of DMX, but for professional long term installations SPI has some risks. Once again, this is 5 pin PCB DMX512IC chips I am talking about. Not DMX to SPI

170 LEDs limitation is really a problem, once you want to use e.g. 10000 LEDs in installation. That's our point of view. Of course you can find some benefits using DMX... either way, we just don't think it's practical.

@@LEDStripStudio I understand that point but most 24V are 6LEDs per pixel/IC, and most control boxes still use Artnet to DMX. The $200 box I typically use has 8 universes, so that's 1360 ( or 8160 LEDs / 136 Meters). And still to the point. If you are running 10000 LEDs from a single Artnet to SPI box and you have a break point 100 pixels in, then you'll have 9900 non-functional LEDs until you fix the break point. I wouldn't take that change running anything architectural where a lift or crane would be required to do the repair.

According to the specification "The protocol of the HD108 LED strip is the same as the APA102 LED strip light." - thus it should work with our controllers. But the question is related more to controller than the software. If the controller supports HD108 and can receive Art-Net, you can use it with LED Strip Studio software.
